Venue
The conference will be hosted by the University of Turin and the University of Aosta Valley and will take place in Turin and Bard.
Turin
The conference will take place in rooms located in the basement of Piazzale Aldo Moro, right next to Palazzo Nuovo, headquarters of the Humanities Department of the University of Turin. In the immediate vicinity is Via Po, the main street that leads from Piazza Castello (Castle Square) to the River Po. It is a very lively, young neighbourhood: in the cross streets of Via Po you will find several places to eat, drink and go out.
Fort Bard
Fort Bard is s a fortified complex built in the 19th century by the House of Savoy on a rocky prominence above Bard, a town in the Aosta Valley region of northwestern Italy. The Fort will be the venue of the third day of the conference, July 5th. Transfer from Turin and back will be arranged by the conference organization.
